Over 60 Years of ServiceFounded in 1962 by Earl Rumery on the site of a former CMP coal fired electric generating station, originally constructed by York Light & Heat Company in the 1880s. Rumery’s is a member of Maine Marine Trades Association, American Boat and Yacht Council and was a participant in Maine's North Star Alliance Initiative. We are happy to support HEART OF BIDDEFORD, a Main Street Maine Community project.

Rumery's is always on the outlook for talented individuals with particular experience and skill in boat handling, rigging, varnish & finish, carpentry and other boat yard jobs.
We are currently looking for a systems technician & mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should be familiar with outboard repair, diesel maintenance, decommissioning and commissioning on both power boats and sailboats. Experience is required. ABYC certification a plus.
