Rumery's is the only builder to deliver this beautiful daysailer,carefully blending Herreshoff's exquisite lines, faithfully, with high performance modern construction and materials. Versatile, Alerion's stability and predictability make her ideal for family's, racing, and single handled sailing. Her modern construction and sleek lines make for powerful yet surefooted and comfortable performance in strong wind. Drawing only 2' 5" with the center board up, Alerion can sneak into coves and shallows easily and confidently.

Her cabin is warm and snug, with ample room to chart a course, read a book, or take a nap. A cruising interior is also available, complete with galley, double bunk, reading chair, and navigation station. Alerion's elegant mahogany house sides and coamings, rails, and louvered doors along with the teak cockpit and cockpit sole are masterfully constructed and finished by Rumery's builders.

Alerion incorporates the best in fiberglass technology. Vinyl ester resin and high-density closed cell core make for an exceptionally light-weight hull with incredible strength and rigidity. A lighter hull and deck with a cast lead ballast lowers her center of gravity and increases performance handling and stability.
