Yachting World Article - Wolfhound

We are happy to support HEART OF BIDDEFORD, a Main Street Maine Community project, as well as York County Junior Achievement, providing financial literacy to our future workers.

It was a surprising summer with periods of great weather, hot humid days, some rain here and there and plenty of action on the water. Just recently had a 65' Schooner come up and grab a mooring for a short visit into town.

Their final destination is New Zealand.

Rumery's Travel lift has been refurbished over the summer. We sandblasted the surface rust & painted the machine, replaced control cables and bearings, lubricated the wire rope and painted a new emblem to help find the centerline. The Rumery's crew, led by painter Kirsten Teel, did a fine job!

NO WAKE RESTRICTIONS on the Saco River
The River has some fragile areas, where wake of any significance causes erosion of the bank, and a receding shoreline. The Cities of Saco and Biddeford enforce "headway speed only zones" in the River. See the Harbor Brochure for details. HOWEVER, when navigating in areas of the River where the restriction does not apply, you are still responsible for your wake. Be aware of other boats, especially smaller ones, and boats with other boats in tow.

ROWING SHELLS Donated to Community programs.
Rumery's donated two AVANTI class rowing shells, one to Portland Community Rowing Association and the other to Merrymeeting Community Rowing Association .
The gift included an aluminum shell trailer.
