Rumery’s Boat Yard builds, maintains and restores wooden and fiberglass yachts for those individuals who value traditional standards of excellence. We have a heated indoor storage building, as well as a shed with a dirt floor, perfect for wooden hulls.

Rumery’s is one of the last downtown boat yards, situated within walking distance of the City center and Amtrak’s DOWNEASTER station in Saco. Within view of the Yard, boat owners may now take the train from New York and Boston to take delivery of their boat in the spring. Call us and we'll pick you up.

Rumery’s 38 is inspired by Will Frost designs of the 1920-40s. This is a slender 38 footer that slips through the water leaving bearly a ripple of a wake. Her torpedo-stern and unique lines make heads turn everywhere she goes. She would make a fabulous launch for a larger yacht.

RESTORATION: The crew at Rumery’s is experienced in major and minor repairs and restorations. Please look at our project pages to see some recent work. We have done major overhauls on two spectacular ALDEN CHALLENGER yawls. We are well equipped to restore wooden yachts, and will be happy to review your wooden boat repair project with you. Our crew is always anxious to get into an interesting project. We have lots of experience with Concordia yawls and sloops.

Rumery's is a full service boat yard with staff certified in electronics, diesel and systems. We work with wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber and prepreg carbon. We have one of the largest prepreg curing ovens in the state.

Rumery's is a member of Maine Built Boats. This is a trade organization of quality Maine boatbuilders including Brooklin Boat Yard, Portland Yacht Services, Hinckley Yachts (and their picnic boat), Hodgdon Yachts, Lyman-morse Boatbuilding, Morris Yachts, Rockport Marine, Six River Marine, Sabre, Wilbur, Morris Yachts (builders of the spectacular M29), and many others. Rumery's also supports the Maine Marine Trade Association.
We will be at the Maine Boats & Harbors Show, August 13 -15.
